Bilateral cooperation is an important part of international cooperation, whether it is about aligning planning policy with those of the neighbouring countries, the exchange of experience and information of importance to the spatial development of the entire region or about sharing experiences, knowledge and skills in the preparation of planning documents, establishment of databases / information systems and monitoring of spatial changes from other European countries.
Republic Agency for Spatial Planning has participated in the following bilateral projects and / or initiatives so far:
- Cooperation with the Public Company “New Town Planning Institute of the Republic of Srpska” (since October 2013)
- “Building capacity for INSPIRE Directive and ESPON 2013 Programme in the Republic of Serbia” (G2G10/SB/6/2), Government to Government (G2G) project: Dutch assistance programme for capacity building between governmental institutions (2010-2011)
- French-Serbian Forum for Spatial Planning and Regional Policies (Forum franco-serbe pour l'aménagement du territoire et les politiques régionales) (2004-2006)
